Teachers must get better air and light

Sweden’s teachers work every day to provide our school children with the best education possible. They need the right conditions to do their important job. Also, our children have the right to a school environment where they can concentrate and stay healthy. Good air quality and proper lighting should be commonplace in every learning environment. It is not the case today, and that needs to change.

Do you want to know about the indoor environment in your school?

Healthy Indoors, experts in indoor air and light, are now focusing on the topic of our children's school environment. In addition to being Sweden's largest workplace, teachers and children spend almost 90% of their time indoors, often in a poor indoor environment. Finding out about the indoor environment at your school requires no significant resources or costs. Sensors should be a given in every school to visualise CO2 levels, particles, humidity, light, and temperature.

This is an easy way to get a good indication of air and light quality and determine if further action is needed. If you desire guidance or are interested in learning more about how you can measure the indoor environment (light and air) at your school, fill out the form to the left, and we will get back to you on how we can assist.

We care and want to be part of the change to ensure that teachers and school children have the right conditions to perform in a healthy everyday life.

Stay healthy indoors – now and ever

We spend nearly 90% of our lives indoors. Thus, a healthy indoor climate is essential. Not only for our mental and physical wellbeing, but also for our ability to perform well. This is what we do for a living – enhancing people’s health and performance by increasing the quality of the air we breathe and the light we receive indoors.
